Background

UNDRESSED Hair was founded by stylist Chris Ace as a natural, heatless alternative to traditional salon culture. Although he had an established career in Los Angeles and Austin, launching the brand required building a cohesive visual identity, website, and social presence from the ground up, evolving from a simple video request into a complete brand foundation.

Strategy & Execution

I partnered closely with Chris to translate his vision into a cohesive, visually driven brand experience that could support long-term growth.

  • Clarified the brand’s voice, audience, and visual direction to tell a more authentic story

  • Planned and led a flagship photo and video shoot featuring real clients in natural settings

  • Created a cinematic brand film to introduce UNDRESSED’s identity and establish a strong visual foundation at launch.

  • Built a practical content library for use across the website, social, and campaigns

  • Guided launch planning and content strategy to build early momentum and engagement
